As daughter #3 of 4, I spent many of my elementary school years wearing hand-me-downs from my older sisters. My mom, being very handy with a sewing machine, also added several inches of cotton fabric to the bottom of pants legs so we could wear them longer. My absolute favorite pair of jeans had ruffle of Holly Hobbie fabric and my second favorite had a fabric ruffle with a Budweiser Beer print. Yes, really. My oldest sister always got the new clothes and I remember that being a source of envy for me. A family of six must have been quite a challenge to keep clothed. I learned from my mom to never buy anything unless it's on sale and to shop garage sales and secondhand stores for great deals. Those early lessons of frugality have stayed with me my entire life. I still shop the sale racks at stores and love going garage-saling, although I haven't worn Holly Hobbie jeans in several decades. What was your favorite childhood clothing item?

When I head into my kitchen to cook, I rarely think about things like, "How does the manufacturing of my skillet affect the environment?" Luckily, Ozeri thought about all that before I headed into the kitchen. Their Stainless Steel Earth Pan is manufactured with ETERNA, the world's longest-lasting 100% PFOA-free non-stick coating developed in the USA. PFOA is a harmful chemical used in making traditional cookware.

This pan is beautifully constructed of the highest quality 18/8 stainless steel with TriPly construction and a polished mirror exterior. The non-stick coating is fabulous. The other day I made Roasted Veggie Egg Scramble and had no problems with the veggies sticking while I roasted them. Plus, Ozeri made sure I don't need to worry about my eco-friendly pan releasing harmful fumes or toxins.

When I added the eggs, I had no sticky issues when I cracked them into the pan or when I scrambled them. The cooked food slid right out of the pan onto my plate. The handle is very securely attached with three rivets and the handle stays cool even when the cooking temperatures are high.

After cooking, I set the Ozeri Stainless Steel Earth Pan on another burner to cool down before cleaning it. Trying to clean eggs off a skillet is usually a frustrating job. Once I even threw away a pan because the eggs were nearly cemented onto the pan.

I held the Earth Pan under warm running water to get it wet and nearly all of the "skillet leftovers" rinsed right off. Then I added just a small drop of liquid detergent to the middle of the pan and wiped it out with a wet washcloth. There was no scrubbing required, no scratching required, and no rewashing required.

I absolutely LOVE the Ozeri Stainless Steel Earth Pan. In fact, it just might be the best one I've ever used. It certainly cleans up faster and easier than anything else I own. I definitely recommend it. Oh, I almost forgot to mention, it comes with a full warranty!
