Peanut Butter Crunchy Snack Bars #Recipe - Ice Chest Challenge #BahnCooler @usfg

What are your family's favorite Ice Chest Recipes? Try my Peanut Butter Crunchy Snack Bars, loaded with deliciousness and protein to keep your family going all day long! They are made with just a few ingredients, with no baking required, and they are fun to make as a family before you head out to Schlitterbahn.

Peanut Butter Crunchy Snack Bars

Ingredients:
10 cups corn flakes cereal
1 cup creamy peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup brightly-colored chocolate chips

Directions:
Pour 10 cups of corn flakes cereal into a large bowl. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup sugar and 1 cup light corn syrup, stir constantly and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in 1 cup creamy peanut butter. Pour over corn flakes cereal in bowl and stir until fully mixed. Spread 2/3 of the mixture into a 9x13 casserole dish, using buttered hands, pressing it down as you spread. Layer 1 cup chocolate chips, then spread the remaining 1/3 mixture over the top of the chocolate chips, pressing it down. Let cool for about an hour, then cut into snack-sized bars.
